From the beginning of our work for iShares we have created a stream of content to drive the social strategy and populate the digital ecosystem. From applications to animations, videos and contests, our job has been to feed the on-going need of the brand to lead the conversation with fresh, relevant, compelling content experiences.
In creating content about ETFs (exchange traded funds) our mission has been to bring compelling clarity and simplicity to this most complex of financial instruments. Our initial focus was to get across simply what an ETF was. This then moved on the benefits of including them in a portfolio and the strategies that they enabled. This game changing work more than doubled the effectiveness of any education oriented communications iShares had attempted in the past.
From there we went on to explain their full product suite using the latest advances in teaching/learning techniques adapted to digital channels. This includes breakthrough work using social marketing and social gaming, which have also produced unprecedented results.
